Framepoint Privacy Policy

Thank you for choosing Framepoint ("Framepoint," "we," "our," or "us").

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Framepoint collects, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you when you use the Framepoint mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using Framepoint, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Our Privacy Principles

Framepoint was designed with a simple goal:

Collect only the information necessary to provide the Service.

We intentionally minimize data collection by:

  • not requiring user accounts or sign-in;
  • using anonymous profiles instead of personal accounts;
  • not displaying third-party advertising;
  • not selling personal information;
  • not building advertising or behavioral profiles;
  • collecting only the information needed to personalize your editing experience and operate the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Anonymous Profile Information

Framepoint does not require users to create an account.

Instead, the application creates an anonymous profile that allows the Service to remember your preferences and editing workspace across sessions.

Your anonymous profile may include:

  • Anonymous profile identifier (UUID)
  • Selected industry
  • Selected social platforms
  • Subscription status (when applicable)
  • Available credits (when applicable)
  • Subscription expiration information (when applicable)
  • Apple subscription transaction identifier (when applicable)

This information is used solely to operate the Service and is not intended to personally identify you.

Business Information

You may choose to provide information that personalizes your content, including:

  • Business name
  • Provider name
  • Provider title
  • Business website

This information is used only to customize templates and exported content.

Provider Media & Branding

Framepoint allows you to choose branding assets, including:

  • Provider profile image
  • Provider profile video
  • Business logo

These assets are stored with your anonymous profile solely to restore your editing workspace and personalize templates in future sessions.

They are never used for advertising, marketing, or behavioral profiling.

Imported Media

Framepoint allows you to select photos and videos from your device to create content.

Framepoint accesses only the media you explicitly choose.

Imported media is used only to generate content you request.

Exported Media

When you export content, Framepoint saves the finished image or video directly to your device's Photo Library using Apple's native APIs after you grant the appropriate permission.

Framepoint is not designed to permanently store your exported photos or videos as part of its cloud services.

3. Device Permissions

Depending on how you use Framepoint, the app may request the following permissions.

Photo Library

Used to:

  • import photos and videos you select;
  • save exported content to your Photo Library.

Framepoint only accesses media you explicitly choose.

Camera

Used only if you choose to capture photos or videos within Framepoint.

Camera access is requested only when needed.

Microphone

If you choose to record video with audio inside Framepoint, microphone access may be requested.

Microphone access is used only while recording media that you initiate.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information only to provide and improve Framepoint.

Examples include:

  • remembering your anonymous profile;
  • restoring your editing workspace;
  • restoring provider media and branding;
  • generating exported content;
  • managing subscriptions and available credits;
  • maintaining service reliability;
  • preventing abuse of the Service;
  • responding to customer support requests.

Framepoint does not use your information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Subscription Information

If you purchase premium features in the future, subscription information may include:

  • subscription status;
  • subscription expiration;
  • available credits (if applicable);
  • Apple subscription transaction identifier.

Digital subscriptions within the iOS application are processed using Apple's In-App Purchase system.

Framepoint does not collect, process, or store your payment card information.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

Framepoint relies on carefully selected providers to operate the Service.

Supabase

Used to securely store anonymous profile information and application data necessary to provide the Service.

Vercel

Used to host backend services supporting Framepoint.

If additional providers are introduced in the future and materially change how information is processed, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those changes take effect.

7. Analytics & Advertising

Framepoint currently:

  • does not use third-party analytics platforms;
  • does not display third-party advertising;
  • does not participate in cross-app tracking;
  • does not sell personal information;
  • does not build advertising profiles.

If these practices change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those changes become effective.

8. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate the Service;
  • maintain your anonymous profile;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • resolve disputes; or
  • enforce our agreements.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it where appropriate.

10. Your Choices

You may:

  • decline optional device permissions;
  • revoke previously granted permissions through your device settings;
  • uninstall Framepoint at any time.

Certain features require specific permissions to function properly.

If you would like information associated with your anonymous profile removed, you may contact us using the information below. We will review and process reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law and our operational requirements.

11. Children's Privacy

Framepoint is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that such information has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.

12. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence where our service providers operate.

Regardless of where information is processed, we take reasonable measures designed to protect it in accordance with applicable law.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When material changes are made, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the Service.

Your continued use of Framepoint after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
